Visiting Deb Frisch’s site, I see that it got worse even earlier:

I just called Pajamas Media to try to talk to someone in the legal department about how I was libeled and slandered by Mr. Goldstein and other PJ blogs (Ace of Spades, etc.). The bimbo who I talked to (she wouldn’t give me her name) told me to have my lawyer contact them. I’m just trying to tawk to someone in the legal department, I sez. I’m acting on my own behalf.

“Serve us.” she said.

I think that means bring it on.

So I need to file a lawsuit accusing Pajamas Media of libel, slander, reckless endangerment of a troll (posting of personal info, posting of lies, posting of employment information, encouraging rightwingnuts to bombard my boss with lies, etc.)

I was terrorized. Hmmm. Maybe this could fit into the anti-terrorism legislation somehow?

Any lawyers out there interested in taking a shot at Pajamas Media and Faux Newz?

If so, I’d love for you to email me with a phone number. I’ll cawl you and we’ll tawk.

So, lets recap: Protein Wisdom might be going down for good because a member of a national university’s faculty posted comments threatening a toddler, and then claimed that the most damning of them weren’t hers, despite the fact that they came from the same IP as the ones she admitted to. She is now attempting to sue said blogger (because, you know, she’s the victim) and may be making worse comments about the blogger’s son. (And if it isn’t her, and is merely a copycat, Frisch remains somewhat responsible for inspiring them).

And all of it points to Protein Wisdom possibly shutting down.

Sad.

UPDATE: I’ve posted some of the unsavory comments that appear to be either from Frisch or from someone impersonating her, in case they mysteriously dissapear. Be warned, they are very graphic and contain disgusting imagery and language, so if you don’t care, don’t read.
