ron paul on iran

On tonight’s Fox News debate, Ron Paul went into his typical foaming-at-the-mouth rant in answer to a question that had nothing to do with what he ended up attacking:

I’m only glad that Brit Hume had the sense to actually call Paul on it– and watching McCain’s look of disgust as Paul goes once again off the deep end was priceless. Romney gets a good shot in too toward the end of the video. All of this should cause Paul’s numbers to continue their inexorable dive into utter insignificance.

  1. Mainstream media and the business interests that control you continue to do so. Don’t be so gullible. Please. America is in a downward spiral and we need less naïve people, like yourself, to make our nation great again. We need to improve our economy and improve our dollar value. Don’t be a pawn for the elitists who don’t give a damn about you or the average American. Ron Paul speaks the truth. If only you could hear him.

    Americans please do not let media pick the lesser of two evils for you. Do not allow yourself to manipulated by propaganda. The future of our nation is dependent on you wising up. Ron Paul is the start of awaken people from their slumber. Thank you, Dr. Paul!

    PS Ron Paul won Fox New’s text poll. Again! And was cheered during the debates. Spin Spin and more fox news spin to make you believe that Ron Paul failed. Think for yourself. Thanks :)

  2. Wow you found one thing that Ron Paul misheard.. oh my god you’re amazing. You should be a ‘reporter’ for Fox News.

  3. Also when does McCain not have a “look of disgust on his face”? The man always looks like he is ready to barf. McCain is not physically healthy I think.

  4. Care to point out something that’s not blatantly obvious about the debate, Curtis? I suppose it’s impossible, since you’ll never confront your own ignorant bias.

    If you can run your own blog, you’re at least smarter than the average bear. Don’t be a dummy.

  7. @vat–
    Yes, clearly the answer to my brainwashed views about politics is to elect a conspiracy theorist, racist, homphobic bigot to the Presidency, whereupon he will immediately take steps that will no doubt lead to an invaded and defeated South Korea, a terrorist haven in Iraq, and a collapse of the Western international system the United States has spent the past century building. (This brainwashed corporate zombie can only cheer at how abysmally Paul does in real polls- like primary elections)

    @Susie–
    I’m actually making fun of what Paul says, not his response. I mean, it isn’t a simple matter of “mishearing” every other candidates arguments– which, as Brit Hume pointed out, universally praised the U.S. for the opposite response that Paul began to then attack in a foaming, poorly articulated rant.

    @Tony–
    I’m glad that we agree that Paul did excrementally in the debate, and in both Iowa and New Hampshire. Moreover, I think my political opinions speak for themselves– as I pointed out in the comment thread on my last anti-Paul post, my candidate won in New Hampshire. Besides, I don’t really care if its obvious that Paul is insane, after months of fending off Paul zealots, watching his campaign fail so spectacularly is quite possibly the most fun I’ve had in politics– well, with my clothes on at least.

    All the Paul apologists in this comment thread might do well to google my site for other writings on Paul, as they’ll show that I don’t blindly accept the “big bad media” opinion, but rather, have complex and evidenced-based reasons for why I think a Paul presidency is the worst idea anyone’s had in American politics since Albert Fall convinced Edwin Demby to give him jurisdiction over DoI reserves.
